The Beginning of the End takes us deep inside Cheyenne Mountain, home to the North American Aerospace Defense Command and the world’s most dangerous “launch” button. On a cold New Year’s Eve in late 2021, we discover all the juicy (and cheesy) details of the events leading up to the Accidental Apocalypse.
ISSUE 1
Well This is Unfortunate finds us in the suburban basement of our two unnamed protagonists. The bombs dropped a little more than thirty days ago. Their neighborhood, along with the distant Vegas skyline, has been flattened. An ominous orange haze hangs over what’s left of the once vibrant desert oasis. Food & supplies, along with tempers, are running short.
ISSUE 2
In Welcome to Wakmart, Zeke and Jelly, journey to the outskirts of Lost Wages. As the two stand before the store’s smashed front doors, there’s a sense of heated anticipation — everything they could ever want, including TP, lies just on the other side. But, as we know all too well, it’s never that easy.
ISSUE 3
Is This Farewell? Fresh out of Wakmart, we find Zeke and Jelly on the open road getting to know two new Nerds — Scorch & Mae, who claim to be searching for the Promised Land. The gang comes upon an overturned rock tour bus and investigate. This super-fan-must-loot opportunity turns into a race against super storm looming on the horizon.
ISSUE 4:
We are Definitely Not Alone. The gang meets a new nerd and explores the untold secrets of the true government warehouse of the unknown and unexplained: Area 51 and a half.
